Remote Senior Manager, Product Management

Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of experience in product or project management, preferably within the energy or related technology sector

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and roadmap for our BESS deployments, energy trading platform and other internally developed software products
• Define and prioritize product features that enhance the efficiency, profitability, and risk management of our BESS operations across multiple markets
• Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Trading, Asset Management, Market Analysis, and operations teams to understand user needs and translate them into actionable product requirements
• Lead technical teams to build tools to meet commercial requirements
• Develop and manage product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities
• Collaborate with external vendors to integrate new technologies and solutions into our platform
• Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify procurement opportunities, product differentiation and market expansion
• Own the product launch process, including strategy, user adoption, and training
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, gathering feedback to inform product enhancements and future developments
• Stay abreast of compliance and regulatory changes and technological advancements in the energy storage and trading landscape
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with energy trading platforms and familiarity with relevant software tools preferred
• Experience with transmission connected power project controls and software is a plus

• The expected salary range* for this position begins at $160,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic labor market, and other factors consistent with applicable law
