Summary
Join Sprout Social's Sales and Success team as a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering and lead a high-performing team supporting Enterprise Sales. You will meet and exceed revenue goals, coach and mentor Solutions Engineers, partner with revenue leaders, provide feedback to senior leadership, and collaborate with product teams. This role requires 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience and 2-4+ years leading a team, along with a proven track record of success. You'll develop go-to-market strategies, influence product direction, and foster innovation. Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent experience
- An additional 2 - 4 years+ of experience leading a Solutions Engineering or PreSales team
- Consistent and measurable track record of success both as a leader and as an individual contributor
- Demonstrated passion for hiring, developing and coaching top talent
- Experience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, sales operations, success, enablement and product
- Exceptional communication skills and analytical acumen
Responsibilities
- Meet (and exceed) revenue, operational, and strategic goals as well as foster the professional growth, development, and success of your team members
- Spend time coaching, counseling and mentoring Solutions Engineers in all aspects of sales and effectiveness
- Partner closely with revenue leaders on meeting revenue targets, driving deal strategy and supporting as a product + industry expert
- Provide timely and practical feedback to senior leadership for new and interesting go-to-market strategies
- Partner with product teams to provide feedback on production direction and roadmap
- Be a technical Executive Sponsor for enterprise-level companies
- Own strategic projects to drive go-to-market strategy, influence product direction, create scale in the revenue organization and foster innovation in the solutions organization
