Summary

This contract-to-hire position offers the potential to convert to full-time employment with benefits after 90 days. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions and business impact. The role involves building dashboards and reports, performing deep-dive analyses, and presenting findings to influence strategy. This position requires extensive experience in D2C environments and proficiency in SQL, Looker, Excel, and Google Sheets. Success in this role demands strong analytical skills, the ability to distill complex information, and effective communication with executive leadership.

Requirements

  • You bring over 4 years of experience in fast-paced D2C environments, with a strong focus on marketing and close collaboration with operations and product teams to drive data-informed strategies and performance outcomes
  • You're a subject matter expert in SQL with a strong ability to create insightful, visually compelling dashboards using tools like Looker, and you bring advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
  • You know how to take complex subject matter and distill it into actionable insights
  • You have experience with building analytical models using tools like Python or R
  • You’re comfortable supporting and utilizing 3rd party tools such as Google Analytics to support web & marketing analytics
  • You’ve partnered closely and effectively with executive leadership and marketing teams; you regularly deliver presentations on your findings and influence strategy

Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for investigation and drive projects to completion with a high degree of autonomy & ambiguity
  • Proactively “connect the dots” across marketing, e-commerce, & product teams to drive strategic decisions
  • Collaborate closely with Sr Data Analyst and Head of Data, as well as other business leads, to translate stakeholder needs into analytics and data requirements
  • Provide ad hoc support as requested to support internal organizational initiatives, including intake requests
  • Assist in moving the organization to more self-service analytics by introducing intuitive dashboards & reports, training, & hands-on sessions with business stakeholders
  • Perform and present deep dive analysis to senior and extended leadership to influence decisions and strategy with guidance from Head of Data and VP of Marketing & Strategy

Preferred Qualifications
