Requirements

  • Possess a growth (marketing) mindset
  • Be able to uncover success and leverage data to shape the way forward across various paid, owned, earned and shared initiatives
  • Master the art of delegation and be well versed in managing up to ensure that projects in your purview progress
  • Be at ease diving in to draw out helpful insights from our existing channels to inform tests, launches and moments to go bigger
  • Have experience launching, testing and scaling multiple paid channels from go to wow and have built a depth of expertise that enables you to confidently push boundaries and take the lead
  • Be passionate about mentoring and developing your team and always look for opportunities to empower and enable your direct reports to grow and do their best work

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, retain, and grow active customers in the paid search channel
  • Create meaningful, delightful, and impactful paid search marketing moments that inspire action, align with our values & strategic focuses while hitting targets
  • Lead the team in data-driven decision making, including developing a rigour around a scorecard of KPIs to keep tabs on key performance trends
  • Develop a supportive team of detail-oriented channel experts
  • Act as the bridge between growth counterparts, account representatives, and tools
  • Ensure that CPAs are trending to beat benchmarks, freeing up investment for further tactical expansion
  • Establish a performance playbook for paid search that streamlines workflows and sets the bar for executional excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to prioritize major cross-functional projects & priority test plans for the next few quarters, and align on what additional resources we’ll need to execute them
  • Establish H2 goals for each of your direct reports that connect to our business targets and their individual career development plans, ensuring they are tangible, measurable, and motivating
  • Effectively report to the team on the progress of current marketing channel testing, produce insightful rear views and make recommendations on how to improve or test new channel approaches
