Senior Marketing Technical Manager

Summary

Requirements

• Experience with marketing technology (e.g. workflow automation tools, CDPs, CRMs, Data Warehouses, etc) is required
• Experience with web services and APIs is required
• Light coding experience is required (formal developer training is not required but in this role you will be required to create code snippets to transact against APIs)
• Interest and/or experience with AI tooling (such as LLMs, vector databases, and transformers) is required
• Strong project management and communication skills. This is a requirement. You must be able to effectively communicate technical topics and areas of progress/blockage to both functional and technical audiences - switching between context and modes of communication as appropriate. Is able to keep contributors on task
• Have a growth mindset; a love for learning, figuring out how things work and evolving what exists today - and a passion for AI that drives them to stay on the cutting edge of thought leadership in the space
• Are detail-oriented and take pride in thorough testing and documentation. Demonstrate a logical and scalable solutioning mindset
• Are a great collaborator, able to manage relationships with many stakeholders across the business

Responsibilities

• Think through, plan and execute AI projects. This will cross many different tools and departments, both within and external to Marketing. Demonstrate foundational management and strategic planning skills
• Intake and prioritize ideas from across the business to identify the most potentially impactful solutions. These will include infrastructure for Marketers to take advantage of, as well as customer-facing programs. Drive technical projects that align with departmental goals and impact operational strategy. Focus on understanding high-level business metrics and linking initiatives to measurable KPIs
• Manage a variety of stakeholders and their expectations, from senior marketing leaders to internal teammates and other functional partners. Own cross functional communication supporting projects in flight. Present complex ideas and strategic recommendations to senior leaders. Use pre-planned, visual approaches (e.g., templates, timelines) to communicate effectively. Create sharable documentation to ensure consistency and scalability
• Use knowledge of web services APIs, AI tools, automation tools, and some light coding to create internal AI products based on these plans and ideas. Work with senior leadership to ideate, capture trends and insights, and report on progress. Act as a thought leader in AI, identifying innovative applications to improve marketing solutions. Research external technologies and vendor solutions to stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh ideas to HubSpot
• Mentor and help train other members of the team. Provide technical thought leadership and actively contribute to the strategic goals for the group. Delegate effectively, leverage other team members and partners to execute broader initiatives

Benefits

• Cash compensation range: 112000-168000 USD Annually
• The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
• In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs)
• Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay
