Summary
Join Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) as a Sr. Middle Office Analyst and support all trade lifecycle events for F&Gโs Investment portfolios. You will act as a subject matter expert for supporting functions related to investment operations. Responsibilities include implementing investment onboarding procedures, reviewing security master data, prioritizing daily production tasks, and liaising with the primary custodian. You will also conduct quarterly valuations, oversee reconciliations and reporting, and develop monthly metrics. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3-5 years of experience in asset management or insurance, and advanced understanding of fixed income securities. F&G offers a flexible work environment with options for in-office, hybrid, and remote work arrangements.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business
- 3-5 yearsโ relevant experience; Asset Management and/or Insurance experience required
- Advanced understanding of Fixed Income securities and the process through which they are entered into a Trade Management and/or Accounting system
- Advanced skills within Microsoft office applications
- Proficient use of Bloomberg terminal, specifically for pricing and Middle Office functions
- Excellent analytical skills required
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of investment onboarding procedures, with a focus on Private Credit investments
- Review Security Master daily (SMF) data for new investments and guide the flow of data into the Accounting Database
- Prioritize and direct daily production tasks and ad-hoc requests
- Proactively seek and drive opportunities to achieve straight-through processing and improve efficiency of investment onboarding and reconciliation processes
- Liaise with primary custodian as the point of contact for F&G on all operational responsibilities
- Conduct and support the quarterly valuation process for private placement and mortgage loans
- Responsible for reconciliation and reporting oversight for the Investment portfolios
- Develop monthly metrics to identify trends in production and mitigate potential risk
- Analyze and execute complex and non-routine deliverables
- Perform other functions, duties, and projects, as assigned
- Regular and punctual attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Business Intelligence experience preferred
- Experience with Clearwater Analytics preferred
