Summary
Join Perforce as a Senior Sales Operations Analyst and provide analytical, operational, and program support to our global sales organization. You will work with General Managers, Sales Management, and sales representatives to drive bookings and efficiencies. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and can interact with all levels of the company. Responsibilities include owning sales metrics, running analyses to steer the sales organization, managing the forecasting process, removing back-office barriers, ensuring data integrity, creating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also assist with customer outreach, train the sales organization, and contribute to territory planning and quota setting. This role requires a BA/BS in Business or Finance, 3+ years of sales operations experience, Salesforce.com proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- BA, BS in Business or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in direct sales operations experience, with time spent supporting growing sales organizations
- Salesforce.com experience with proficiency in reporting and dashboards including custom report types, dynamic dashboards and dashboard filters
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of SQL and Power BI a bonus
- Attention to detail and accuracy, excellent analytical and financial modeling mindset, with ability to succinctly interpret data and present findings to senior executives
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical, project management and communication (oral and written) skills
- Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive working relationships
- Ability to think creatively to come up with workable solutions
Responsibilities
- Own the metrics, reporting, and dashboards to enable data-driven decisions and sales performance improvement insights
- Run analysis that steer the sales organization including forecasting, pipeline creation and insights, market coverage, segmentation, white space analysis, etc
- Contribute and facilitate sales territory planning, coverage models and quota setting process
- Manage the forecasting process from reporting to direct sales engagement
- Remove back-office barriers for the sales team by identifying opportunities to drive improvement of processes and systems that enable the sales team to become more efficient
- Ensure a high level of data integrity and alignment with consistent global standards and procedures within our CRM and sales tools, including training and on-boarding new sales representatives
- Define and create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for business reviews
- Ensure collaborative and effective communication with sales and cross functional teams including but not limited to marketing, operations, legal and finance
- Assist sales organization teams in executing customers and prospect outreach in outbound campaigns
- Train and enable the sales organization on processes and systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous international business exposure
- Global SaaS and B2B experience preferred
- Previous Deal Desk and deal structuring experience ideal
