Senior Network Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Network Security Engineer at ALTER SOLUTIONS. The role involves handling incidents, performing security controls, audits, patching, maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment. The qualifications required are 7+ years of experience in a similar position, experience with Algosec product, network architecture, design, and implementation, English (min B2) proficiency, and proficiency in Polish language. Requirements

• 7+ years of experience. in a similar position
• Experience in network architecture, design, and implementation
• Experience with Algosec. product - configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• Ability to manage and optimize network performance, ensure security, and troubleshoot. complex network issues
• Experience with firewall technologies. and best practices
• Capability to configure, manage, and secure various firewall solutions
• Experience in scripting and automating network tasks. to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• English min B2
• Proficiency in Polish language is a must

Responsibilities

• Handling of Incidents / Problems / Service Requests and escalations
• Performing various Security Controls and Audits
• Patching, maintenance, troubleshooting and deployment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) and security (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
