Senior Network Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Systems/Network Engineer at ConnectOS, a technology consulting firm in Metro Manila. The role involves Level 1-3 systems/network troubleshooting, daily hands-on interaction with networks, systems, cloud, voice, and users, assisting senior engineers, monitoring and managing customer networks, onboarding of new client network infrastructure, and following changes of client systems. Required skills are Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Storage, Azure virtual machines, AWS EC2, EBS, and VPC. Preferred skills include industry certifications, VDI experience with Citrix, Linux server experience, switching & routing technologies, and NAC technologies.

Requirements

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• VMware (i.e. ESXi, vCenter)
• Storage (i.e. SANs)
• Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking
• AWS EC2, EBS, and VPC

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications, specifically HPE, AWS, Azure, Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, and VMware
• VDI experience with Citrix
• Linux server experience with Ubuntu Server, RedHat, and CentOS
• Switching & routing technologies, specifically Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba
• NAC technologies, specifically Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and Microsoft NPS
