Join Airbnb as a Senior Organizational Design Manager and revolutionize our talent and organizational design. Collaborate with the Employee Experience Leadership Team (EXLT), Talent Directors, and Talent Partners to develop innovative talent strategies, design organizational structures, and lead service design initiatives. Analyze data, manage cross-functional projects, and develop educational resources for Talent Partners. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Success will be measured by implementing talent strategies, improving employee satisfaction, and establishing effective communication resources. This US-remote eligible position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and 15+ years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in service design, organizational design, management consulting, or related disciplines
- Proven experience leading complex, high-impact projects that drive organizational change and improve employee experiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and strategic foresight
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and diverse professionals
- A strong passion for understanding organizational dynamics and improving employee experiences
- Proficiency in creating compelling presentations that narrate stories through data, with advanced skills in tools like PowerPoint and Keynote
- Ability to mentor diverse talent and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging within the organization
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the EXLT and Talent Directors to assess and respond to changing business needs, facilitating the development of innovative talent strategies
- Design and facilitate organizational structures that promote cross-functional collaboration and increase operational effectiveness
- Lead service design initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience, ensuring alignment with Airbnb’s core values
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights that inform talent management and organizational initiatives
- Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations throughout the execution process
- Develop educational resources for Talent Partners, enabling them to implement strategic initiatives and sustain organizational change effectively
- Communicate complex concepts and strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels, translating them into actionable plans
