Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience managing payroll processing knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another relevant field
  • Discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing workloads
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills while keeping customer experience top of mind
  • Experience in APJ payrolls in jurisdictions

Responsibilities

  • APJ(Singapore, Australia, Japan, India) payroll processing with help of payroll vendors
  • After necessary training, support the international payroll processing for multiple countries
  • Oversee the payroll processing and management of assigned payrolls
  • Follow standard processes and controls to ensure continuous compliance
  • Preparation of vendor payroll input templates for payroll input and loading to vendor UI platform
  • Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from employees in India and other assigned countries
  • Effectively collaborate with the payroll vendor to ensure that all pay impacting transactions are collected, processed, and reported timely and accurately
  • Assist the Accounting Team with payroll journal and accrual preparations and the reconciliations of payroll general ledger balances
  • Adhere to all legal and internal deadlines
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide support and input when required
  • Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from employees for other assigned payrolls
  • Help maintain documentation of all payroll SOPs ensuring consistent and accurate processes
  • Deliver excellent employee experience in relation to ServiceNow queries
  • Understand employment tax requirements relating to compensation and benefits, including equity
  • Highlight the problems if anything is not going well

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent Excel and Vendor management experience
  • Workday and Service now application Knowlede preferred
  • Equity and Benefits Processing experience preferred
