Summary

Join PointClickCare as a Senior People Advisor and collaborate with leaders and employees to deliver integrated HR solutions. Partner with the HRBP Director and COEs to enhance talent strategy. Design and implement talent programs, analyze organizational needs, and coach leaders to build high-performing teams. Resolve employee concerns and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to HR operational effectiveness and process improvement. Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience including 3-4 years as People Advisor, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or other relevant HR experience
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor regulations for US for Canada
  • Prior experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, workplace investigations and handling sensitive HR issues. A strong understanding of performance management and leadership coaching techniques
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with capability in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and related HR software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiatives and work with minimal supervision and collaboratively with others to solve challenging problems. Experience influencing and partnering with senior-level leaders
  • Ability to quickly triage issues, provide consultative advice, and apply sound judgment and the highest levels of integrity in resolving complex situations with discretion; maintain confidentiality
  • Strong planning, coordination, time management, and organizational skills. Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a personal passion for driving continuous process improvement and optimization. A true client centric and growth-minded spirit with a proven track record of delivering results and ability to balance urgency with common sense

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HRBP Director and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to improve delivery of all aspects of the business’ talent strategy
  • Build strong working relationships and trusted partnerships with stakeholders by developing a strong HR expertise and business acumen and leveraging that to coach and develop people leaders to improve their leadership effectiveness, build high-performing teams, and drive employee engagement
  • Participate in the design and implementation of the talent programs; analyze organizational needs, identify performance improvement opportunities, recommend, and implement performance improvement initiatives, and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Coach people leaders and their teams to create a high performing culture across the organization; facilitate internal mobility and career development
  • Take the lead role in assessing and resolving employee concerns, grievances, conflicts with fairness and integrity while ensuring compliance company policies and guidelines and all local, state/province, and federal labor regulations in both Canada and United States
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and contribute to the HR operational effectiveness by working with cross functional HR teams in identifying areas of opportunities to support process standardization, simplification, and automation to increase operational efficiency and excellence
  • Help to build a strong HR Brand across the organization
  • Act as the internal Subject Matter supporting the HR team on different Employee Relations and Workplace Investigation matters
  • Ensure continuous consistency, integrity and fairness in our practices
  • In partnership with the legal team, support resolution of various complex employee concerns in compliance with applicable laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Prior HR experience at high-growth, mid-to-large scale organizations within the tech industry
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR analytics to drive data-based decision-making
  • SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR or HRPA-CHRP Certified
