Summary

Join Thrive as a Senior People Business Partner Manager in the UK, supporting key leaders and teams across the UK and EMEA regions. You will partner with the VP of Talent People Business Partners to ensure a consistent and impactful experience. This role deeply involves working with leaders to align People strategies with Thrive’s growth goals, driving initiatives across talent management, engagement, culture change, and organization design. You will act as a talent advisor, helping leaders make better decisions and build high-performing teams. You will also contribute to designing and scaling core talent programs, guiding leaders through organizational change, and nurturing Thrive’s culture. Finally, you will ensure compliance and contribute to improving People-related processes and systems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strategic HR advisory and business partnership
  • Employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Performance management and career development
  • Training and development program delivery
  • Organizational development and change management
  • Experience supporting a diverse, global workforce, including remote and distributed teams
  • Ability to navigate cultural nuance, employment regulations, and regional compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Skilled at building trust and credibility across all levels of the organization
  • Proven analytical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Capable of handling sensitive issues with discretion, diplomacy, and care
  • Able to pivot quickly and confidently — you can go from 0 to 60 mph when priorities shift
  • Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy solving complex, people-related challenges

  • Must be willing and able to work onsite in UK offices (London, Luton, and Nottingham) as needed

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to talent advisor for leaders and their teams — connecting business goals to people strategies
  • Help leaders make better decisions and build high-performing, resilient teams
  • Apply structured problem-solving and data-informed insights (both qualitative and quantitative) to shape programs and guide decisions
  • Support leaders with organizational design — ensuring teams are structured with the right roles and skillsets to support business objectives
  • Support leaders in setting clear goals, coaching teams, and developing talent
  • Help build and deliver talent programs around mentorship, performance management, coaching, and career development
  • Guide leaders and teams through organizational change, helping them stay aligned and resilient through growth
  • Offer insights and recommendations on cultural and engagement initiatives
  • Support implementation of programs focused on employee wellbeing, DEI, and overall talent management
  • Act as a trusted partner to resolve conflict, foster positive employee relations, and minimize unwanted turnover
  • Deliver and evolve People processes that matter most to our teams and culture
  • Act as the subject matter expert for employment compliance in your region
  • Help to evolve and improve People-related processes and systems as Thrive continues to grow

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent)
