Summary

The job is for a Senior People Success Business Partner at onX, a digital outdoor navigation company. The role involves supporting Product and Engineering leaders, leading People Success initiatives, partnering with managers to assess performance, creating and delivering training programs, mentoring junior team members, tracking organizational health, managing employee relations issues, enhancing the culture of supported organizations, conducting 1:1s with business unit leaders, and more. The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to the design and execution of an HRBP business model, and shape the future of onX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years of HR Business Partner experience in SaaS, tech startup, and/or scaling environments with over 100 technical employees
  • Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX
  • Ability to travel at minimum quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to address business, organizational, and people-related needs
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to onX leadership on people matters, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Lead People Success initiatives to successful execution, such as Engagement Surveys, CareerGPS, Talent Review cycles, Compensation review, 9Box assessments, and 15five usage
  • Partner with managers to assess performance, drive performance decisions, and foster the growth of mid-level and top talent
