Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
  • Deep understanding of Oracle EBS and Oracle financials cloud
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, and subqueries
  • Deep understanding of relational database design and Oracle RDBMS architecture
  • Experience with query performance tuning and database optimization techniques
  • Solid understanding of transaction management, data consistency, and indexing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across time zones and functions

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages
  • Optimize and refactor existing database logic to improve performance and scalability
  • Write complex and efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and reporting
  • Work with Oracle databases (12c or higher) to ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers, QA engineers, and analysts
  • Monitor and resolve database performance issues, including query tuning and indexing strategies
  • Support application deployment and troubleshoot production issues related to data processing
  • Document technical designs, procedures, and maintenance plans for database components
  • Stay current with Oracle features and PL/SQL enhancements to leverage modern capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle partitioning, materialized views, and advanced analytics
  • Exposure to ETL pipelines, data warehousing, or finance-related data processing
  • Experience in Agile or SCRUM environments
  • Basic knowledge of shell scripting or job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Cron)
  • Experience in Oracle 23AI
