Join Context Travel as a Senior Portfolio Associate and play a key role in managing the regional portfolio of travel products for UK, Ireland, Iberia, Americas, and Asia-Pacific. You will be responsible for maintaining product information, building vendor relationships, and implementing global portfolio strategies. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as you will interact with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors. You will also contribute to product development, pricing, and process improvement initiatives. The position offers a remote-first work policy and a supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the cultural sector or travel industry and strong digital proficiency.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regional travel portfolio is current for to venue regulations, itinerary logistics, and ticket specifics
  • Ensure relevant backend product information is clear and accessible for internal teams and experts
  • Optimize client-facing tour information and ensure clarity and brand-voice alignment
  • Anticipate destination and venue disruptions that may impact tours and liaise with team to proactively problem-solve
  • Build and maintain relationships with venues, suppliers, and other partners in the region
  • Execute monthly regional vendor accounting including verifying and preparing invoices for payment
  • Own key aspects of product merchandising, such as descriptions and photos/media; execute on other aspects of merchandising as defined by regional and global director
  • Execute strategic product creation and updates in consultation with regional directors, marketing, and global portfolio lead
  • Proactively and consistently track regional and global industry trends and changes
  • Identify and recommend product opportunities; own building any product approved by regional or global portfolio lead
  • Make recommendations regarding portfolio pricing
  • Provide direct support to our Fulfillment lead and contractors, and Global Supply lead regarding defining processes for ticket buying and reservations, and additional questions as they arise
  • Support our Client lead, Global Support and Sales teams with product and venue knowledge, problem-solving, and travel planning
  • Take an active role in KPI tracking for the region
  • Have a pulse on the competitive landscape and macro trends
  • Support other global portfolio strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to and support the successful end-to-end delivery of regional and global tours across all functions
  • Maintain deep knowledge of and support our expert relationships and fulfillment processes
  • Participate in and execute against regional Delivery strategies such venue assessments and product cleaning
  • Mentor and train seasonal contractors and Delivery colleagues
  • Collaborate with Global Portfolio Director and other regional Portfolio colleagues to identify, propose, and implement product improvements as needed while monitoring the success of the initiative
  • Actively contribute to weekly regional Delivery team and cross-regional meetings
  • Participate in cross-regional initiatives and lead project working groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in the cultural sector or travel industry preferred
  • Digital native or strong digital proficiency - preference for applicants with experience in Front, Slack, and Google for Business suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive, Gmail)
  • Preference for applicants with deep knowledge of destinations such as London, Barcelona, Lisbon, Tokyo, or Kyoto, or experience working with regional venues such as the Tower of London or Sagrada Familia
