Summary
Join Vanta as a Sr. Procurement Analyst and support the procurement function by partnering with internal stakeholders. Streamline the procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and implement strategies that deliver value. Work cross-functionally to identify, strategize, negotiate, and procure tools and solutions. Leverage expertise to manage the procurement process from end to end while building strong partnerships. Create winning outcomes for stakeholders and vendors. Manage the procure-to-pay process. Drive competitive pricing while maintaining positive vendor relationships. Assist in managing procurement for various spending categories.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience leading procurement or procurement operations at a software or technology company
- Strong background in negotiating vendor contracts with focus in commercial and legal concessions
- Experience working with procurement, expense management, and travel management tools like Zip, Ramp, and Navan
- Possess strong understanding of third party risk processes, full cycle vendor management, procure to pay processes, systems and controls
- Demonstrated experience in delivering highly effective, operationally excellent, scalable programs and processes in growth-stage startup companies
- Experience working in fast-paced environments while strategizing to fix complex issues
Responsibilities
- Own procurement strategy and operations as needed in partnership with the Head of Procurement
- Strategize and improve Procurement policies and operating procedures for different orgs based on their specific process needs
- Negotiate, source, and assist business partners with vendor engagements. Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that obligations are met and the process for tracking renewals or replacement of existing agreements is managed and scalable
- Partner with internal stakeholders to meet their purchasing needs while prioritizing process speed, cost efficiency, and value
- Create winning outcomes for internal stakeholders and vendors to create long-term partnerships
- Manage the end to end procure to pay process by partnering with internal stakeholders, AP, and external vendors
- Tap into a deep base of historical prices and network to drive competitive pricing while balancing facilitating long, positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors
- Assist in managing procurement for marketing, real estate, cloud, and professional services spend
