Summary
Join Airbnb's Community Support team as a Senior Analyst and make a significant impact on our Make Goods Incentive Program and CS Tech team. This high-impact role offers significant ownership and visibility within a small team supporting Community Support (CS) and Global Operations. You will own the Make Goods Forecast, create performance reports for our CS AI program, assist in annual planning, drive the financial strategy of premium support, improve CS unit economics, identify key opportunities, build cross-functional consensus, and drive financial results into operational recommendations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, possesses strong stakeholder management skills, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This US-remote eligible position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-6+ years of relevant experience in a strategic finance or related field.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience in Strategic Finance, Analytics, Business Operations, FP&A, Investment Banking, Management Consulting or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to put together clear and compelling narratives
- Strong financial acumen, you have sound instincts
- Superb financial modeling skills (Google Sheets or Excel) and substantial experience in quantitative and qualitative financial analysis. You must be able to build a driver based model from scratch
- The ability to work and influence cross-functionally is a must. You are proactive, great at communicating with different audiences
- You take ownership and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in an unstructured work environment
- You can comfortably manipulate datasets, create analytical frameworks, and drive results
Responsibilities
- Own the Make Goods Forecast and actively work to optimize the program through detailed analysis
- Create reporting and analysis to monitor the performance of our CS AI program
- Assist in driving annual planning by building scalable budget templates, partnering with CS to consolidate inputs, and quantifying headwinds/tailwinds
- Help drive the financial strategy of premium support through sizing
- Drive improvements in CS unit economics with insights that guide investment decisions
- Identify and size key opportunities to drive impact through quantitative analysis and external research; create business cases for new initiatives
- Build consensus across cross-functional teams to drive financial results into operational recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
SQL proficiency preferred (or fast ramp): you self-serve data and surface clear insights and recommendations
