Summary
Join Wati, a rapidly growing CPaaS company, as a Senior Product Analyst and bridge the gap between data and product strategy. Analyze user behavior and product performance using SQL, visualization tools, and product analytics platforms to deliver actionable insights. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and executives to influence product decisions and impact key SaaS metrics. The ideal candidate possesses technical proficiency, business acumen, and a proactive work ethic. You will generate insights, design experiments, build dashboards, define metrics, and translate analytical findings into compelling narratives. This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. Experience in product analysis, data analysis, or a related field is required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product analysis, data analysis, or a related field, demonstrating a track record of using data to drive product strategy and decision-making. Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred
- Expert in the fundamentals of product analytics including building metric trees, experimentation, user activity & retention analytics, funnels & customer segmentation
- Experience in creating impactful data visualizations using tools such as Looker Studio
- Experience working with event based tracking data for web or mobile and hands-on experience with a behavioral analytics tool e.g. Heap, MixPanel, Amplitude etc
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. (English is a must!)
Responsibilities
- Generate Insights and Influence data driven decision making. Some example projects: funnel analysis, user segmentation, product feature analysis, pricing optimization
- Experiment Design and hypothesis testing
- Data visualization, dashboard building, self serve dataset building for the stakeholders
- Define and formulate metrics. For example defining success metrics to measure product features or initiatives success
- Storytelling with Data: Translating analytical findings into compelling narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking: Employing strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex product-related challenges
- Closely working with Product Managers on product related projects, and other technical (e.g. Engineering) and non technical stakeholders (e.g. Customer Success, Sales, etc.)
- Applying advanced SQL skills for querying databases, as well as utilizing programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis tasks

- Proactive & Independent: Adaptable, eager to learn new skills, and comfortable with ambiguity. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the product based on data analysis
- Strategic Product Thinking & Business Acumen: Ability to translate data into actionable insights, highlighting key takeaways and recommending specific actions. Can understand the business context and can connect data to real-world product challenges
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, Revops and other members within the Data Team
- Present complex data in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They should be able to identify key areas of inquiry and formulate insightful questions to guide their analysis
- Excellent SQL skills, experience using DBT for data modeling is a plus
- Working knowledge of Python/R is a plus
