Senior Product Designer

Summary

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing for complex software applications
• 5+ years of experience at a minimum at a digital software company
• A proven track record of driving impact through design solutions and delivering high quality products
• Experience owning products from start to finish, working with developers and PMs
• Excellent visual design skills and understanding of UX principles
• A solid understanding of front end development (HTML, CSS, React/Angular)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Advanced expertise using Figma, Sketch or equivalent design software
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a willingness to take the initiative on projects

Responsibilities

• Help guide the vision for ClickHouse by leading design and user experience initiatives for our core product
• Clearly communicate designs through storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups
• Work closely with UI engineers and product managers to help transform final designs into a finished product
• Lead design feedback sessions, both with internal and external stakeholders, to validate assumptions and solutions
• Advocate for our users by continuously measuring, iterating on, and evolving the user experience of our core products
• Help shape the culture and direction of the design team
• Help us continue to hire amazing people to grow the design team and bring diverse perspectives to our design process
