Requirements
- A strong foundation in user-centric product design, information architecture, usability, interface design, heuristics, design systems, systems thinking, usability testing, and user research
- Experience driving projects as the lead designer or sole designer, alongside Product Management and Engineering partners
- 5+ years of professional end-to-end Product Design experience in a fast-paced environment collaborating with Product Management, UX Research, Engineering, and business teams
- Experience in scrappy and fast-growing companies
- A high-level of skill with design and collaboration tools (eg. Figma, Whimsical, Maze, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Define impactful projects – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, service delivery teams such as Clinical, Support, Pharmacy, and Strategy & Operations to align business objectives with user experiences
- Drive discovery – Lead innovative initiatives by defining, designing, and conducting usability tests, experiments, and patient interviews. Collaborate with UX Research, Data, and Product Management to ensure design solutions are grounded in user needs
- Create informed solutions – Leverage design theory, user insights, and data to craft thoughtful, evidence-based design solutions that solve real user and business problems
- Collaborate within the product triad – Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to create solutions that are user-centered, feasible, and aligned with business goals
- Foster curiosity and design excellence – Continuously ask questions, validate assumptions, and iterate on designs to ensure effective solutions. Advocate for design thinking, lead initiatives that elevate design quality, and amplify the team’s impact through cross-functional and individual contributions
