Senior Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Manager at BioRender focusing on Search and Discovery. The role involves leading the strategic direction of the AI product group, personalizing creation experiences, collaborating with a team, building a culture of experiment-driven product development, and leveraging data and user research to deliver results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in Search, Discovery, and personalization, ideally at a fast growing SaaS startup
• Proficiency in measurement and metrics for relevance and search quality
• Strong understanding of various search, NLP, and ML technologies and the ability to leverage this technical breadth to make the right decisions for our users
• Experience using user quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative insights (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product prioritization and decision-making
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Imagine and define personalized creation experiences tailored to each scientist’s unique needs for their research, discovery, and communication
• Collaborate with an all-star team of data scientists, engineers, designers, and user researchers to define and execute on a roadmap to increase the speed with which scientists can utilize the beautiful and scientifically accurate content in BioRender
• Build a strong culture of experiment-driven product development and learning for BioRender, driving engagement and retention in BioRender for millions of scientists across the world
• Experiment and Implement the latest technology to make our BioRender search experience world class

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with popular search vendor solutions such as Elastic and Algolia
• Educational background in life sciences
