Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with experience building API-first technical products for developers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical products, from concept to launch, in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Expertise and passion for working cross-functionally and influencing platform teams within larger orgs
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience using metrics and analytics tools to drive product insights and improvements

Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption of companies on the Gusto Embedded Payroll platform
  • Drive product development of critical projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that improve the products of our Embedded partners
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, CX, Solution Architects, and other counterparts across Gusto to solve complex cross functional problems
  • Work with developer teams at our partners to develop a deep understanding of their needs and how to enable them to bring payroll to their customers as quickly as possible
  • Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, especially related to developer products (APIs, SDKs, etc.) to push our product experience to the next level
  • Connect with partners and customers to drive insights that will inform the product roadmap and execution

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Fintech, Payroll, or HR

Benefits

  • Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $144,000 to $178,000/yr in Denver & most major metro locations, and $186,000 to $230,000/yr for San Francisco, New York, & Seattle
  • We have offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York and have remote team members across the US and Canada
  • Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role)
