Senior Product Manager - Platform Infrastructure

Summary

Join HashiCorp's team as a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Infrastructure and define technologies, processes, and practices to optimize our platform infrastructure. You will develop a deep understanding of platform infrastructure needs for various HashiCorp products and collaborate with engineering and other product managers. This role involves owning the business strategy and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, understanding unique infrastructure needs of each product line, participating in planning and prioritization, detecting areas for improvement, and collaborating on infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of platform infrastructure, 5+ years of experience in an infrastructure-focused PM role with a B2B SaaS product, and strong communication skills. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of platform infrastructure on SaaS infrastructure products and public cloud platforms
• 5+ years of experience in an infrastructure-focused PM role with a B2B SaaS product
• Experience driving infrastructure needs cross-functionally across multiple product lines
• Understanding of the enterprise services space, particularly managed services and system integration
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on written communication
• High levels of customer empathy and a passion for using numbers to understand how customers adopt and use products

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy and roadmap for cloud infrastructure across all HashiCorp cloud products and services
• Understand the unique infrastructure needs of each product line and define the primitives of standard platform infrastructure
• Participate in detailed planning and prioritization exercises jointly with engineering
• Detect areas that are ripe for improvement and establish appropriate infrastructure goals
• Influence and collaborate with colleagues to develop infrastructure solutions
