Senior Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Manager at HyperionDev, a tech education provider. The role involves driving the strategic development and success of various digital products, including Student Portal, Mentor Portals, Placements Portal, Website and Payment Gateways, Sign-up Flows, SaaS Tools, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor product manager, with a proven track record of delivering value and viable solutions
• Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and constructive relationships at all levels
• A strong technical background, preferably with hands-on coding experience (Python/Java) as well as deep experience with agile and scrum methodologies
• Solid understanding of the technical architecture of platforms, the role of API integrations, and the utilisation of SaaS tools within a company
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and coordination skills
• The ability to clearly communicate requirements, balance risk and hold stakeholders accountable to delivery deadlines

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality product enhancements
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analysis tools to understand user interactions and make informed decisions
• Customer Insight: Engage in continuous customer research and feedback collection to refine product features and ensure user satisfaction
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product plans and progress to all stakeholders, including team members, executives, and external partners
• In-House Platform Expertise: Adopt an in-house first approach to address business needs by understanding the technical capabilities of our platforms to align product strategy with engineering efficiency
• API Integration: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our API integrations and support the wider business teams to enhance their use
• SaaS Tools Proficiency: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the SaaS tools utilised company-wide, ensuring our products efficiently integrate with these tools

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree preferred
• Previous startup and EdTech experience is a plus, especially with a focus on developer education
