Summary
Join Level Access as a Senior Product Manager to own the A11y Tester product area, focusing on mobile application testing. Drive innovation and ensure our tools empower organizations to deliver inclusive digital experiences. This role requires a strong technical background, expertise in mobile app testing, and dedication to accessibility. You will be responsible for product knowledge, data-driven decisions, product ownership, innovation, vision and strategy, user interaction, team collaboration, market trend awareness, and product delivery. Requirements
- 5+ years in technical roles, with at least 4 years in product management
- Understanding of product management principles with a curiosity about mentoring
- Shown ability to ship products and experiment with early adopters in the market
- BSc or equivalent experience in computer science, business or related fields
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, integration standard methodologies, and mobile platform nuances
- Skilled in conducting user interviews to deeply understand problems and needs
- Validated experience taking products from ideation to launch with measurable success metrics
- Excellent ability to present complex ideas clearly while actively listening to different perspectives
- Comfortable working in early-stage environments with rapid hypothesis testing and iteration
- Experience leading or developing tools
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product, including its role in solving accessibility challenges for mobile applications and the value it brings to customers
- Leverage data and insights to guide product decisions and define the analysis required for informed decision-making
- Act as the product owner for key tools
- Identify and explore new use cases for mobile accessibility testing, iterating quickly towards MVPs and conducting in-market testing
- Contribute significantly to the strategy, focusing on advancing a11y testing for mobile platforms
- Engage with users to understand their needs, collect feedback, and develop hypotheses for new opportunities
- Collaborate daily with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to align product vision and execution strategies
- Stay informed about trends in accessibility and mobile app testing within enterprise environments
- Drive product delivery from concept to release maturity, ensuring high-quality outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with digital accessibility regulations (e.g., Section 508, ADA)
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements as they apply to mobile applications
- Experience using diverse personas to influence product design decisions
- Background as a mobile app developer or Mobile QA automation engineer
- Experience designing accessible experiences
- Familiarity with tools used for accessibility conformance testing on iOS and Android platforms
