Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of Product Management experience specifically within the P&C insurance industry; 6โ10+ years preferred
- Professional experience in Personal Lines insurance, particularly homeowners, with deep knowledge of insurance product management, regulatory environments, and how to apply that expertise to strategy and prioritization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise, and consistent messages across a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
- Proven ability to translate high-level company strategy into a cohesive product vision, actionable requirements, and a roadmap that aligns with broader business objectives
- Strong analytical skills; experienced in using data, stakeholder input, and market insights to prioritize initiatives quickly and effectively
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering products that drive satisfaction and value
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to new information, and turning uncertainty into clear, executable plans
- Consistent track record of meeting milestones while balancing competing priorities and adhering to established metrics and constraints
- Experience driving positive business outcomes through effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, particularly within technology or software product environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and rollout of product updates in close collaboration with our Insurance Product and Technology teams
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap to drive critical business outcomes, addressing gaps through actionable solutions
- Balance user needs and experience with business priorities, ensuring thoughtful and data-driven prioritization
- Prioritize initiatives that maximize key performance indicators (KPIs), reduce risk, and align automation efforts with the strategic goals of the Insurance Product team
- Identify operational gaps and lead the prioritization of process and technology improvements to enhance efficiency and results
- Plan and coordinate operational activities necessary for successful execution
- Oversee change management efforts (including release notes, training, and communications) to ensure effective adoption by the Insurance Product team
- Manage and coordinate software releases and related process changes
- Clearly communicate functional opportunities, risks, and challenges related to roadmap execution
- Continuously monitor and maintain products and releases to ensure stability and performance
