Summary
Join OpenTable's Enterprise Systems Team as a Senior Product Manager and contribute to building and delivering projects that enhance business efficiency and automate global team processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, analytics, product, and engineering, to deliver impactful business-facing products and system improvements. This remote role, transitioning to a hybrid model in downtown Toronto, requires flexible work hours to coordinate with global teams. You will gather requirements, define product features, act as a scrum master, provide team mentorship, drive cross-functional conversations, and evaluate new third-party tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, experience with financial systems, and a proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. Requirements
- A Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with an engineering/technical background
- 6+ years building and delivering FinTech products
- Technical skills with prior hands-on experience with financial systems such as ERP, AP Automation, AR Receivables, Travel and Expense, Enterprise O2C, R2R, P2P integration platforms
- Comfortability troubleshooting issues and providing technical guidance to system administrators and analysts
- Analyzed highly complex systems and workflows and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences concisely and effectively
- Supported monthly financial close and have expertise in product delivery in order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report domain
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills, with great attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, adherence to data governance and control requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to constantly learn and grow in the role while adapting to whatever new systems are needed in the future
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-company to gather requirements, understand partner needs, define product features, write detailed product requirements, and lead multiple projects
- Act as scrum master, maintain JIRA, handle trade-offs between technical debt and new features, leading cross-product improvements and initiatives
- Provide team mentorship and support in resolving operational incidents promptly
- Drive conversations cross-functionally across multiple platforms (O2C, R2R, P2P enterprise system, NetSuite, Salesforce, SoftCo, Expensify, etc.)
- Drive evaluation of new 3rd party tools with vendors, business partners, and engineering
- Deliver comprehensive vendor analysis to leadership
- Act as scrum master, maintain JIRA, handle trade-offs between technical debt and new features while developing product roadmaps, and provide status updates to the leadership team(s)
