Requirements
- Product Management Expertise: 5+ years in product management, with hands-on experience in shaping and driving product strategy, roadmap ownership, and customer-focused decision-making including experience with lending products in banks, consumer finance or fintechs with a strong understanding of commercial loan markets and lending partner and service provider ecosystems
- Commercial Lending Insight: Direct experience in commercial lending, with a strong understanding of industry-specific needs and challenges including commercial and consumer lending loan lifecycles from lead generation to secondary market sales and servicing
- Sr. PM approach and mindset: Youβre able to break down complex initiatives into actionable outcomes and drive work independently. In addition to identifying issues and risks in developing strategy and tactical execution, you are solution oriented and action towards bias in proactively mitigating and solving identified issues
- Product, people and process discovery: Proven ability to engage stakeholders in granular discovery sessions uncovering and defining detailed processes and procedures across people and systems. Ability to dissect discovery outcomes to identify actionable outcomes supporting strategic revenue and operational needs
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong data-driven analytical approach, with the ability to make informed decisions even when complete data is unavailable
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on objectives and ensure cohesive execution
Responsibilities
- Creates and manages product strategies, roadmaps, and product specifications for all payments specific product suites
- Ensures product features and processes align with applicable financial compliance and risk management standards
- Creates and validates user story feature acceptance criteria as well as ensure appropriate testing frameworks for product features
- Collaborates with business leads, partner operations, customer success, architecture and engineering and product inputs to assess cross-partner value, scope of effort, usability, and priority of product features
- Supports or leads product discovery on new product offerings, working with the Product Manager team, strategy team, business partners, and others to identify potential new lending products and validate the opportunity
- Collaborates with product marketing, sales, partners, support etc. to develop product collateral such as product descriptions, presentations and training for a strong go-to market and customer support plan
- Develops and/or implement database recovery plans and procedures
