Join Precisely, a leader in data integrity, as a Senior Product Manager to lead our data governance software portfolio. You will drive product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, marketing, sales) to deliver solutions. This role requires deep understanding of data governance and data management, a passion for problem-solving, and a proven track record. You will become a subject matter expert, supporting sales and product development. The position offers a work-from-anywhere culture within the United States and requires approximately 10% travel.

Requirements

  • You have previous experience in an enterprise software product management role
  • You have experience in enterprise software technologies and implementation
  • You have experience in the Data Governance and/or Data Catalog industry
  • You have the desire to be technology curious; keep up in reasonably technical conversations
  • You have outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to present to large and small audiences

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for our data governance software, aligning with business goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, UX, marketing, and sales to prioritize features and ensure successful product delivery
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points in the data governance industry
  • Translate customer requirements and feedback into functional requirements, business requirements and use cases
  • Monitor product performance using key metrics and analytics, driving continuous improvement and iteration
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance, including compliance, privacy, and data management best practices
  • Communicate product vision and progress to internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
  • Work closely with Product Owners to elaborate on requirements definition and validation
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform product decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional experience in the data quality, master data management (MDM) or data integration industries is a plus
  • Experience with SaaS software delivery is a plus
