Summary
Join the Raspberry Pi Foundation as a Senior Product Manager (SPM) on a fixed-term contract (March 2025 - April 2026) to drive the development of innovative products for young people and educators. You will own complex products, aligning outcomes with organizational priorities, and collaborating with business owners and cross-functional teams. This role involves shaping product roadmaps, mentoring junior product managers, and using data to inform decisions. Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, with a strong track record of delivering complex or ambiguous products that drive significant user and business impact
- Extensive experience working in agile teams, including leading agile processes and optimising workflows
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to contribute to and influence product vision and organisational goals
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders and convey complex ideas clearly
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and solving challenges
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use insights to inform product strategy and measure success
- Empathy for users and team members, combined with the pragmatism to balance competing priorities effectively
- Experience mentoring or managing others, with a commitment to supporting team development and growth
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Partner with business owners to develop and execute product strategies, contributing to vision and go-to-market planning
- Own one or more complex or ambiguous products, delivering outcomes that align with strategic business goals
- Define and maintain a strategic product roadmap in collaboration with business owners, balancing user needs, organisational priorities, and long-term objectives
- Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and delivering business outcomes
- Provide strategic leadership across all stages of product development, guiding cross-functional teams through discovery, delivery, and iteration
- Collaborate with UX researchers to integrate user insights into product strategies, ensuring solutions address user needs effectively
- Use data and insights to drive decisions, measure success, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Mentor Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, fostering growth and developing team capabilities
- Identify and resolve complex product challenges, working collaboratively to anticipate and mitigate risks
- Communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on goals, progress, and constraints
Preferred Qualifications
An interest in education, particularly digital making and computing, or a desire to learn more about these areas
