Summary

Join ScholarshipOwl, the largest scholarship marketplace in the U.S., as a Senior Product Manager (B2C). You will take ownership of the student experience and drive revenue growth through data-informed product development. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and deliver initiatives that enhance product-market fit and engagement. This hands-on role offers high autonomy and the opportunity to leverage AI to improve scholarship matching and user experience. You will translate strategic goals into product outcomes, conduct product discovery, and analyze user behavior. The role requires a strong understanding of Gen Z and experience in B2C SaaS or EdTech.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2C SaaS or EdTech
  • Experience building AI-powered features and data-rich user experiences
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z behavior, motivations, and digital expectations
  • Strong grasp of product discovery and experimentation methodologies
  • Fluency in Mixpanel, spreadsheets, and self-serve data analysis
  • Clear communicator who collaborates with transparency and ownership
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced, and resource-conscious environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on strategy
  • Lead continuous product discovery
  • Scope and ship impactful features
  • Own performance end-to-end
  • Scope and deliver key strategic initiatives to grow B2C revenue
  • Improve user engagement, activation, and retention among Gen Z students
  • Lead continuous discovery to identify initiatives that deepen product-market fit
  • Leverage AI to enhance scholarship matching, essay generation, and strategy tools
  • Identify habit-forming opportunities and gamification strategies that drive repeat usage
  • Translate broad strategic goals into clear product outcomes
  • Conduct product discovery using Teresa Torres’ Continuous Discovery framework
  • Use Mixpanel (or similar) to analyze user behavior and inform decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering and design as part of a product trio
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, support, and operations teams
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term product thinking

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing habit loops or gamified experiences
