Senior Product Manager

Summary

Join ShiftKey as a Senior Product Manager and focus on the Acute Marketplace, a critical segment in the healthcare labor industry. You will be responsible for setting a clear roadmap, building a deep understanding of acute facility workflows, and using a continuous discovery approach to validate concepts with customers. Collaborate with your product trio to define outcomes and lead rapid iterations to test and refine ideas. Guide a delivery team through launch, lead beta programs, and foster strong team dynamics. Anticipate roadblocks and work cross-functionally with various stakeholders. Operate with an empowered product mindset, taking full accountability for delivering outcomes. This primarily remote role is based in or near Austin, with regular in-office collaboration encouraged.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the software development space (engineering, design, data analysis) with at least 4 years in a direct product management role
• Proven expertise in modern product discovery and product delivery techniques and methods
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt across multiple functional areas of business, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks and present well-structured, data-informed arguments
• Proven ability to analyze data and leverage insights to drive better decision-making
• Proven track record of building constructive and collaborative relationships with product teams, designers, and company leadership

Responsibilities

• Setting and evangelizing a clear roadmap for the acute care facility marketplace, grounded in outcome-based objectives and discovery insights
• Building a deep understanding of acute facility workflows, staffing challenges, and regulatory constraints
• Using a continuous discovery approach to validate concepts with customers and prioritize opportunities for maximum impact
• Collaborating with your product trio (product manager, designer, engineering lead) to define desired outcomes and map problem/solution spaces using opportunity solution trees
• Leading rapid iterations with fast feedback loops to test and refine ideas before full investment
• Guiding a delivery team from validated discovery ideas through launch, ensuring the product reaches customers and meets their needs
• Leading or supporting beta and pilot programs to assess product-market fit in high-acuity environments
• Fostering strong team dynamics by encouraging collaboration, performance, and individual growth, while delivering results through ownership and cross-functional partnership to navigate ambiguity and constraints
• Anticipating roadblocks and acting with urgency and ownership to move forward, particularly when supporting mission-critical care environments
• Working cross-functionally with marketing, legal, support, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth go-to-market execution and sustainable product success
