Summary
Join Step, a fast-growing financial services company, as a Senior Product Manager. You will own the end-to-end product development for a specific area, aligning the roadmap with Step's business goals. Leveraging data-driven insights, you'll prioritize features, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize products for continuous improvement. You will also build and lead a team of product managers. Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer fintech
- A track record of scaling consumer fintech products, from ideation to launch and growth
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using SQL, Looker, Mixpanel, or similar analytics tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
- Deep customer empathy and a passion for building products that deliver real value
- A proactive, outcome-oriented mindset with a bias for action
Responsibilities
- Define & Drive Strategy – Partner with leadership to refine Step’s vision and strategy for your product area, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives
- Prioritize with Data – Leverage analytics, user insights, and industry trends to identify high-impact features, optimizations, and experiments
- Execute with Excellence – Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and external partners to build, launch, and scale products
- Optimize & Iterate – Monitor key product metrics, measure impact, and iterate based on learnings to continuously enhance the customer experience
- Lead & Grow a Team – Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of product managers as our product suite expands
Preferred Qualifications
