Summary
Join YouScience®, a leading EdTech company, as a Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development and execution of exceptional software products. As a key leader, you will shape the product vision, roadmap, and execution, collaborating with various teams. Your expertise in EdTech SaaS and agile methodologies will be crucial in scaling our impact and driving innovation. You will own the product strategy and roadmap, lead the product lifecycle, and collaborate cross-functionally. You will also engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and inform product decisions. This role requires a strong background in SaaS product management and agile development, along with exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment, with at least 2 years in a senior product management role
- Demonstrated ability to lead product vision, strategy, and execution, delivering measurable business outcomes
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strategic focus
- Strong technical acumen, with an ability to translate customer needs into well-defined product requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a strong bias for action and results
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related discipline); MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with YouScience’s business objectives and customer needs
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to delivery and post-launch optimization
- Act as a strategic thought leader, driving data-informed decision-making and prioritization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between product vision, customer requirements, and engineering execution
- Engage with customers, educators, and key stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities, and inform product decisions
- Define, track, and optimize key product metrics to measure success and continuously improve the product experience
- Lead agile development practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-team communication to drive efficiency and quality
- Ensure seamless go-to-market execution, working closely with sales and marketing to support product launches and adoption strategies
- Champion user experience and customer feedback, ensuring our products deliver exceptional value and usability
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Agile Development, with hands-on experience in backlog management, user story creation, and iterative product delivery
- Proven success in SaaS product management, with a strong ability to navigate complex, multi-faceted systems
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and align teams around a shared vision
- Experience working with educational institutions (secondary and post-secondary) to design and deliver impactful solutions
- Strong analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of industry-standard product management tools to facilitate collaboration, planning, and execution
- Experience in the EdTech space is a plus, particularly in student career readiness, workforce development, or skills assessment
- Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines to drive successful outcomes
