Requirements
- 6+ years in enterprise software or SaaS, developing and deploying high impact product capabilities in complex technical domains
- Strong background in data management, data governance, or analytics, with the ability to serve diverse industry verticals
- Experience with end-user facing UX design and complex platform builds
- Experience with customer discovery methodologies, customer journey mapping, user interviews, and experimentation in complex data ecosystems
- Skilled at collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to translate customer needs into actionable product features
- Adept at balancing technical, business, and design trade-offs to maximize product impact
- Ability to engage with senior leadership, present complex ideas clearly, and build alignment across stakeholder groups
- Highly accountable, adaptable, and self-driven, with a passion for building and scaling innovative products in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand the needs, pain-points, and desires of our users and the goals of our customers. Use your expertise and learnings to evolve our product to meet those needs effectively
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to define, prioritize, and execute on product increments, balancing strategic objectives with day-to-day customer impact
- Coordinate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure product enablement and alignment across the customer journey, delivering effective positioning and communication. Create strong written and visual product enablement materials
- Employ a data-informed approach to prioritize features, track product success, and iterate based on feedback and outcomes, ensuring the product remains responsive to market and user trends. Define success metrics and consistently evaluate them to ensure customer needs and business goals are met
- Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, define and align OKRs for your product areas, driving measurable business outcomes and long-term success
- Provide insights on market trends and segment dynamics to the Leadership team, guiding strategic decision-making and positioning
- Represent data.world and your areas of expertise in both internal and external forums, including customer workshops, demos, webinars, industry events, and conferences
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience with knowledge graphs and/or building AI-enhanced features
- Familiarity and experience supporting and enabling teams in preparing marketing assets, sales demos and training, and understanding enterprise sales cycles
