Summary

Join Redpanda, a fast-growing, well-funded startup, as a Senior Product Manager or experienced engineer/sales consultant. You will guide the evolution of core product capabilities for the Redpanda streaming data platform, working with customers and the market to shape product strategy. Responsibilities include defining feature requirements, prioritizing roadmap items, communicating features internally and externally, collaborating with multiple teams, and owning feature delivery. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in direct role-related product management for B2B enterprise software platforms, particularly data infrastructure, data integration or other distributed systems
  • Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in a sales consulting / customer success role supporting B2B enterprise software sales
  • 5+ years of overall experience in enterprise software companies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Work with a 100% distributed / remote team, collaborating in GitHub/JIRA Slack, Google docs and other modern productivity tools & requirements trackers (e.g. Aha) independently and efficiently
  • Comfortable switching context frequently to address customer, engineering, and go-to-market issues and requests
  • Experience working closely with highly technical products and customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to concisely explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences (and vice-versa)

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers, analyze the competitive landscape, and identify market opportunities to shape the company's product strategy in your areas of responsibility
  • Define requirements for new features through PRDs and prioritize them appropriately in the product roadmap
  • Communicate new features internally and externally and help articulate the value proposition, messaging, and pricing
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams (including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success) to ensure we ship the right features, at the right time, with the right user experience to match the expectations of our ICP and various user personas
  • Own delivery of features end-to-end, picking up tasks wherever needed, reviewing documentation, and creating the telemetry required to measure the success of feature launches after rollout

Benefits

  • U.S. base salary range for this role is $189,000 - $222,000 (CA, NY, WA) and $180,000 - $212,000 (other US locations)
  • 100% remote work environment
