Summary

Join SmartRecruiters as a Senior Product Operations Manager and play a critical role in optimizing product operations. Collaborate with Product leadership and the R&D team to drive improvements, manage customer feedback, oversee the product tech stack, and support the release process. Work closely with Product Marketing and Go-to-Market teams to ensure alignment. Lead cross-functional projects to optimize product operations and enhance customer experiences. Maintain detailed records and create regular reports. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product and project management within a B2B SaaS environment and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in both product and project management within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies
  • Direct experience in project and product-related tooling (e.g., Productboard, Jira, UserVoice)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inspire and successfully drive change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and people at all levels
  • Outcome-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to navigate working with complex systems and challenges (small and large)
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Iterate with teams to continually improve ways of working (e.g., Beta process optimization, Product Discovery optimization)
  • Establish and maintain efficient feedback loops with customers, enabling PMs and Designers to gather, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback
  • Work closely with the Product Management and broader R&D team to support the release process; ensure release schedules are understood and customers receive clear messaging about product updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success/Support) to align product operations and improve overall product performance
  • Optimize communication by ensuring the Product Team has tools to communicate clearly, efficiently, and regularly with internal stakeholders
  • Lead a variety of cross-functional projects (e.g., central projects aimed at optimizing product operations and enhancing customer experiences) and manage a small number of key product launches within your domain
  • Oversee the product tech stack, ensuring it is up-to-date, efficient, and aligned with the company's technology strategy; collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on optimization opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, feedback, and improvements; create regular reports to communicate progress and results to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Product Operations role
  • Experience as a highly organized Product Manager wanting to move into an Operations role
  • Experience as a Project Manager with a passion for product and extensive work with Product Managers within a broader Product Development team
