Summary
Join CookUnity as a Product Manager for Operations Technology and lead the development and improvement of tools and products supporting our rapidly growing meal delivery service. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, collaborating with engineering, data analytics, and cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong data-driven approach, excellent communication skills, and experience in process improvement and operational technology. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our operations, optimizing workflows, and exploring innovative technologies. The position is full-time and requires bi-annual travel to New York, with occasional travel to other locations. CookUnity offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in product management
- You are obsessed with process improvement and using technology to drive innovation
- You have developed system and operational processes in collaboration with Operators and business partners; and implemented mechanisms to improve processes at scale
- You can effectively balance resolving critical issues that pop up with making fundamental strategic investments
- You have experience working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment; leading strategic roadmap prioritization processes with senior leadership
- You have excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to articulating business logic to technical partners and inspiring a distributed team
- You have technical proficiency with Product Management tools such as writing product briefs, user stories, performing analytics, and QA testing
- A strong data-driven, analytical mindset to set hypotheses, narrow in on opportunities, and drive impact on KPIs
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Report to the Principal Product Manager for Operations Technology and eventually own the full lifecycle of product management from discovery to ideation and execution, working with your Engineering team dedicated to this area
- Help the Squad identify and prioritize high-potential ideas to work on that deliver on that strategy
- Understand stakeholder needs and pain points, collaborate with Ops Design, Fulfillment, and Logistics teams to create product or process solutions to solve these needs
- Leverage collaboration to drive the product strategy, OKRs, and roadmap - always with a goal of delivering towards business outcomes
- Own the vision and future of our internal systems and products leveraged by Fulfillment and Logistics
- Write clear product briefs and requirement documents as a source of truth for product discovery and ideation
- Communication is key, always keep internal and external team members up-to-date and deliver outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industry tools such as Jira, Figma, Tableau
- Experience in world-class Operations products related to Fulfillment, Logistics or Warehouse Management
- Experience with service design and service integration
- Comfort with or interest in learning the basics of technical tools such as SQL databases and Postman
- You are a DO-er. You get things done with others and across teams with a problem-solving mindset and avoid unnecessary conflict
- You are detail-oriented and care deeply about delivering small or large features with exceptional quality
- You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- You have a growth mindset and believe in setting super-ambitious goals and learning from both success and failure
