Senior Product Owner

Summary

Join Experian as a Product Owner to drive the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will define and prioritize features, creating user stories, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of proven hands-on work experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment
• Additional certification in Agile or Product Management is beneficial
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Knowledge of DevOps practices; Understanding of automation, continuous integration-continuous deployment (CI-CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies: familiarity with networking, cloud services, virtualization, storage, and server technologies
• Analytical with a focus on delivering high-quality products
• Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

• Lead the product backlog refinement process, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and prioritized based on business value
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment, providing guidance and clarifications on user stories during sprints
• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team
• Conduct regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve the development process
• Foster a collaborative environment, balancing the needs of stakeholders with the capabilities of the development team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, driving for continuous improvement-better outcomes with the software development team and stakeholders
