Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Property Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably in the short-term rental or hospitality industry
- Minimum of 3 years managing teams in a fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Availability to respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours
- Ability to work weekend and be 'on call
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for the properties
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols
- Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure properties are cleaned to the highest standards
- Implement and maintain housekeeping protocols and checklists
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly
- Coordinate with the guest services team to ensure properties are ready for guest arrivals
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program
- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance tasks to prevent issues before they arise
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the guest services team to address any guest concerns or issues related to property maintenance
- Ensure all properties meet the companyβs quality and safety standards
- Assist in resolving guest complaints related to property conditions
- Develop and manage the maintenance and housekeeping budget
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective management of resources
