This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred), 5 years of experience in product marketing and team leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a track record of success
- 5 years of experience in team leadership or management roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Product Marketing Managers
- Provide guidance on individual career development and set team goals
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, target audience, and market trends
- Work with the team to define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
- Collaborate with Product Managers to influence product roadmaps based on market insights
- Lead the development of go-to-market plans for product launches and updates
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product launches
- Drive product adoption through effective messaging and positioning
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends
- Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for product improvements
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including product datasheets, case studies, and whitepapers
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing materials
- Work closely with Sales teams to provide them with the tools and knowledge needed to sell our products effectively
- Develop sales training materials and support product training sessions
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics
- Provide regular reports on the success of marketing campaigns and product initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Software Developer, SDLC knowledge is a plus
- Good ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is βor isnβtβworking
- Must be a strong writer and public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels
- Proven record of building strong PMM practice and processes
- Passion for technology and the software industry and detailed understanding
