This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred), 5 years of experience in product marketing and team leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a track record of success
  • 5 years of experience in team leadership or management roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Product Marketing Managers
  • Provide guidance on individual career development and set team goals
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, target audience, and market trends
  • Work with the team to define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to influence product roadmaps based on market insights
  • Lead the development of go-to-market plans for product launches and updates
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Drive product adoption through effective messaging and positioning
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for product improvements
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including product datasheets, case studies, and whitepapers
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing materials
  • Work closely with Sales teams to provide them with the tools and knowledge needed to sell our products effectively
  • Develop sales training materials and support product training sessions
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics
  • Provide regular reports on the success of marketing campaigns and product initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Developer, SDLC knowledge is a plus
  • Good ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’tβ€”working
  • Must be a strong writer and public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels
  • Proven record of building strong PMM practice and processes
  • Passion for technology and the software industry and detailed understanding
