Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance and manual testing
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and techniques
• Experience in Client / Server products
• Good analytical skills, a sharp mind, and a real interest in cybersecurity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Working English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive manual testing strategies and plans
• Design, write, execute and maintain test cases, scenarios and procedures
• Shake, stress and test the system to reveal pitfalls in user UI scenarios
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
• Perform manual exploratory testing
• Utilize system tools to diagnose and fully document test failures, identifying the source of the failure and providing steps to reproduce
• Work closely with software developers and project managers to understand product requirements
• Review and reproduce product defects that are reported by customers before corrections are delivered for testing
• Review and validate tests written by Developers and other QA members
• Report status to QA and Dev Management regularly
• Coordinate the testing done by others or assist in coordination
