Summary
Join NewRocket, a global ServiceNow partner, as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, implementing test scripts, identifying and resolving defects, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret and implement quality assurance standards. You will also be responsible for compiling and analyzing data, investigating customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. This position needs experience in various testing techniques and ServiceNow platform testing. A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years of ServiceNow testing experience are required.
Requirements
- Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues
- Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
- A good understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies
- Reviewing test cases, test scenarios, analysing the cause of the issues and taking corrective actions as required
- Good understanding of all Testing Techniques which includes Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, Black box testing
- Solid functional and non-functional end to end testing experience of ServiceNow platform
- Experienced in testing of ServiceNow based products
- Resource should have hands on working knowledge of using an already existing automation framework (ATF) to solve different testing delivery problem, challenges, preference will be given to ServiceNow ATF tool
- Technical expert responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his/her technical areas (e.g. Service now /Automation areas)
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 2+ years ServiceNow testing experience or in related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the service or product
- Identify and remedy defects within the production process
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
- Compile and analyze statistical data
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Investigate customer complaints and product issues
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
- CSTE (Certified Test Engineer)
