Senior Regional Alliances Manager

Summary

The job is for a Senior Regional Alliance Manager role in the ecommerce sector. The candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in business development/partnerships, preferably with eCommerce platforms or consulting firms in the commerce space. The role involves managing partnerships, strategically evaluating opportunities, driving business, collaborating with teams, and advocating for the company at industry events.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience in business development/partnerships
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Shopify, Adobe, VTEX, etc. and/or consulting firms in the commerce space (Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, BORN Group, Capgemini, Astound Commerce, Blue Acorn ICI, etc.)
• Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving incremental pipeline through strategic partnerships
• Effective communication skills, and comfort in presenting/discussing with executive leaders
• Demonstrated relationship-building skills with external partners
• Ability to travel >30% of the time
• Startup background – comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
• Comfort with new technologies; ability to communicate with those who are tech-savvy

Responsibilities

• Manage ecommerce platform, management consulting, and system integrator partnerships
• Strategically evaluate opportunities to source, contract and onboard additional ecommerce platform partners
• Own relationships at all levels of partner organizations with the goal of driving as much qualified business as possible into Forter’s sales pipeline
• Collaborate with Product, Integrations and Pre-Sales on the prioritization and development of new ecommerce platform integrations
• Be an advocate and spokesperson for Forter with partners and at industry conferences and events
