Summary

You will play a key role in optimizing the subscription renewal process for our global SaaS organization, ensuring contract accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Deal Desk teams to validate renewal structures, identify compliance risks, and ensure a smooth customer experience. This position requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication skills, and experience with SaaS licensing and contract management. You will be responsible for creating renewal quotes, conducting compliance reviews, and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and collaborative skills and experience with AI integration in work processes.

Requirements

  • Professional Background: 5+ years of experience in renewals operations, SaaS contract management, licensing compliance, or customer account support, preferably in an enterprise software environment
  • Process Management: Experience managing renewal processes, including quote validation, contract reviews, and identifying compliance gaps before execution
  • Experience with AI Integration: Experience leveraging AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, such as using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, or analyzing AI-driven insights
  • SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS subscription models, renewal workflows, and entitlement structures, with a proven track record in ensuring compliance with contract terms
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in CRM tools and BI tools for tracking renewals, analyzing usage data, and generating compliance reports
  • Collaborative Experience: Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Deal Desk, and Finance teams to align on contract entitlements and drive renewal accuracy
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex licensing and compliance findings to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented and analytical problem solver, adept at identifying contract discrepancies, entitlement risks, and opportunities for revenue optimization
  • Proven ability to deliver results against a specific set of goals, including revenue

Responsibilities

  • Create renewal quotes and orders to ensure alignment with customer entitlements, contract terms, and usage data
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Deal Desk, and Customer Success to proactively resolve discrepancies in licensing, usage, and contract terms prior to renewal execution
  • Ensure that all renewal transactions comply with SaaS licensing policies, pricing models, and entitlements
  • Conduct pre-renewal compliance reviews, verifying that customers are correctly licensed and that any necessary true-ups or adjustments are incorporated into the renewal process
  • Monitor and enforce Day 1 compliance by ensuring customers have the correct entitlements and access to their subscribed services immediately after renewal
  • Act as the liaison between Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success teams, ensuring all parties have accurate entitlement and usage information before the renewal closes
  • Identify inefficiencies in renewal processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort
  • Collaborate with product and pricing teams to stay up to date on new product, package and price book releases and provide mapping of old contract terms to new packaging options, ensuring alignment with the pricing book
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates that impact renewal processing and entitlement compliance
  • Support the automation of usage and entitlement validation to streamline the renewal process
  • Train and support internal teams on best practices related to renewal structuring, compliance checks, and entitlement validation
  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to enhance usage tracking and reporting, helping sales teams understand and act on compliance risks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent English verbal and written language skills - any additional language is a plus
  • Unquestionable ethics, integrity and business judgement
  • Mastery of organizational and project management
