Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience selling technology consulting services and/or professional consulting services
  • You have extensive experience prospecting, selling, closing, and growing service contracts with enterprise companies and mature, growth stage startups
  • You know how to close deals and shorten the sales lifecycle
  • You are an excellent communicator and negotiator
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to execute sales plans and drive results
  • You have strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and client needs
  • Results-oriented and data-driven
  • You are extremely organized and know how to effectively use a CRM like Hubspot
  • You are hungry to learn about new ideas every day
  • You pair well with others and love working on a team
  • You write phenomenal emails and LinkedIn messages
  • You maintain a growth mindset
  • You truly enjoy your work and get stuff done
  • You have an ownership/founder mentality
  • You love solving problems
  • You can work independently/autonomously
  • You speak and write eloquently in English

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to deeply understand their needs
  • Become a strategic thought-partner for clients from the first conversation
  • Close deals and shorten sales cycles
  • Develop your own book of business
  • Share AE’s unique origin story and its mission to increase human agency
  • Collaborate with internal teams (developers, data scientists, and product managers) to align sales strategies with technical capabilities and provide the perfect solution to prospects
  • Help promote, package, and present client projects and skunkworks
  • Maintain and expand client relationships to drive revenue growth
  • Organize dinners with potential prospects and clients
  • Travel to build relationships with potential prospects and clients
  • Promote AE at conferences and networking events
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have leadership experience, with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • You’ve completed continuing education sales courses
  • Anything you can bring that will add a lot of value to us and/or our clients, from web3 experience to strategic consulting
