Summary

Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing, venture-funded company in the short-term rental industry, as a Senior Salesforce Administrator. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Salesforce environment. This role requires strong experience customizing and automating Salesforce solutions, system maintenance, reporting, and providing excellent customer support. You will manage user accounts, develop automation processes, create reports and dashboards, and ensure data quality. The position offers a flexible workplace, allowing you to work from anywhere outside the US. Compensation is $20k-$45k depending on location and experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Salesforce administrator experience with Sales Cloud
  • Familiarity with SOQL, Apex, and Lightning components
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
  • Maintain system health by troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and managing data integrity
  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to align with business requirements
  • Collaborate on key projects to determine business alignment, needs, and system requirements, focusing on Sales Cloud
  • Develop and maintain automation processes using Flow, Process Builder, and other Salesforce automation tools
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workflows, approval processes, and data management strategies
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making across departments
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through best practices in data cleansing, deduplication, and governance
  • Provide end-user training to maximize adoption and efficient use of Salesforce
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting user issues and implementing best practices
  • Collaborate with Engineering and IT to integrate Salesforce data and workflows into our proprietary software systems
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features, recommending and implementing enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)
