Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on content strategy, blog optimization, and technical SEO
- Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and experience with CMS platforms (preferably WordPress)
- Excellent knowledge of on-page SEO, content strategy, and keyword research techniques
- Solid understanding of website management and best practices in website performance and mobile optimization
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile best practices
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an SEO-driven content strategy for Eleanor Health’s blog to increase organic traffic, engagement, and conversion
- Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities in line with target audience needs, industry trends, and Eleanor Health’s mission
- Optimize new and existing blog posts for SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, on-page copy, and internal linking strategies
- Collaborate with the content writers and clinical teams to ensure articles reflect the tone and voice of Eleanor Health and are medically accurate
- Use analytics to assess content performance, optimize underperforming pages, and provide actionable insights for content improvement
- Maintain YouTube channel
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as broken links, crawl errors, redirects, and load speed optimizations
- Work with web developers at times to maintain website health, including mobile optimization and accessibility
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics and provide insights on areas of improvement to ensure Eleanor Health’s website aligns with SEO standards and delivers a positive user experience
- Manage and update website content through a CMS (e.g., WordPress), ensuring it is accurate, current, and optimized for search engines
- Build landing pages to support paid, email marketing, and member resource channels
- Maintain online forms and quizzes, make updates and troubleshoot as necessary
- Optimize Google Business Profiles, Bing, Apple Maps and other directory listings for local clinics
- Oversee the creation of new Google Business profiles in accordance with guidelines
- Utilize BrightLocal to audit and monitor local rankings and performance
- Monitor and respond to Google reviews, keeping within HIPAA guidelines
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions, to measure the success of SEO initiatives
- Generate monthly SEO reports with insights, trends, and recommendations to guide strategy adjustments
- Utilize SEO tools (such as Mixpanel, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to monitor rankings, analyze competitors, and keep abreast of changes in search engine algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry or a similar field
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic website maintenance practices
- Familiarity with local SEO strategies and content for a healthcare-focused audience
