Senior ServiceNow Developer

Summary

Join ServiceNow as a ServiceNow Developer and build high-quality, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications used by ServiceNow Security and other Engineering teams. This role offers the opportunity to learn and work on the latest ServiceNow Application & Platform features, directly interact with users and product owners, and drive solutions from innovation to deployment. You will independently design, code, and debug complex applications integrated with multiple systems, explore and evaluate new ServiceNow features, and leverage AI integration into work processes. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of ServiceNow application development experience, extensive knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and technologies, and proficiency in various front-end and back-end technologies. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for application development and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
• Passion for developing applications & solving problems
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development
• Designed & developed ServiceNow applications from scratch
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Scripting & technologies
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, ATF, MID Server, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, etc
• Ability to develop UI-rich applications using Service Portal, Workspace, Now Experience UI Framework, Jelly, and other ServiceNow front-end technologies along with the knowledge of CSS & responsive design
• Comfortable coding in more than one language such as native Javascript, Java, Python, Go etc
• Understands various design patterns, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework
